Where CSR & Sustainability Meet Team Building & Workplace Belonging in the U.A.E

Planet Tomorrow offers CSR & team building opportunities for businesses in the U.A.E using a hands-on workshop model where participants come together to help save the planet, ‘bit by bit’.

These are designed to be a win-win-win solution for employees, companies, and the community they serve. Important secondary and tertiary goals are accomplished by creating hands-on employee CSR programs including making high-quality hiring easier and increasing advertising ROI.

Our programs are designed for specific groups, i.e, businesses, families & friends, and, academia. This division allows us to customize measurements & goals for the workshop. From presentations & demonstrations to workshops and gifting drives, your participation is welcome across all stages, from scrap to upcycling to distribution.

The Mission

Planet Tomorrow aims for a 1% reduction in discarded fabric waste by creating an impact across 1000 companies by 2030, to repurpose scrap, sew it into useful items, & gift it to the deserving, thereby saving these ‘bits’ from reaching landfills.

The Vision

Reduce fabric-generated carbon footprints and make fabric scrap saving a part of everyday life. At Planet Tomorrow we create CSR awareness initiatives to reduce carbon footprint prints while saving the Earth from landfills using talks & hands-on workshops.

The Planet Tomorrow Advantage

As well as benefiting the community, businesses have recognized the direct gains to their own company when engaging in these programs. Employees want to work for a company that cares about its local community; they want to work for a company committed to social change; they want to use their skills to make a difference in people’s lives.

Engaging in Planet Tomorrow workshops increases staff morale, making them proud to work for a company that wishes to support its local community. Along with increased levels of commitment & motivation, businesses report excellent training, upskilling, & bonding opportunities these workshops provide for their staff.

I am immensely thankful to Shambhavi Ma'am and the team at Save, Scrap, and Sew for the incredible work they are doing. My daughter Asma and son Asjad had the privilege of contributing to this initiative as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award community service. What began as a requirement quickly evolved into a genuine interest and understanding of the value of their work. The creativity involved in converting scrap textile waste into high-quality blankets, bags, and pillows for the underprivileged is truly remarkable. This initiative not only reduces landfill waste but also brings comfort and dignity to those in need. Both of my children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and being part of this effort has profoundly transformed their attitudes towards sustainability and resource conservation. Shambhavi Ma'am’s dedication and passion are inspiring, demonstrating how environmental sustainability and social responsibility can work hand in hand. This project has inspired a lot of young minds to engage in important community work. I wholeheartedly support and commend Save, Scrap, and Sew for their impactful contributions to our community and the environment.

When Shambavi requested me to reflect on my journey, I took a trip back almost eight years to where it all began. From me joining as a buddy to supporting my son's MUN project to teaming up with SSS during my time at Kantar, it's been an enriching journey! SSS for me, is not just about volunteering, it’s about being part of a movement, a community with a heart♥. I'm proud to endorse the awesome cause SSS stands for( saving the landfill), even though I admit, I haven't been super active. SSS became the obvious choice when seeking a volunteer organization for my son's MUN project. Our paths crossed again during my tenure at KANTAR, where I naturally leaned towards SSS for a CSR endeavor, resulting in a successful turnout—a milestone for both myself and SSS. I would like to include a note on the KANTAR event. We had a good turnout, and employees felt happy to contribute physically in their own small way. Subsequently, the beneficiaries of the end products created during the event (DAR-UL_ SUKUN in Pakistan) also acknowledged our efforts. Personally, this experience will always hold a special place for me, instilling a lot of confidence to attempt bigger things. Overall, it was very fulfilling. This event also subtly highlighted the positive impact of corporates collaborating with SSS for their CSR initiatives. Undoubtedly, SSS has left a deep impact on countless volunteers and beneficiaries alike. Though I am not as engaged as I aspire to be presently, I aim to be more involved in the near future. A big shout out to Shambavi, the driving force behind SSS. Her efforts to bring SSS to the forefront across different forums are truly remarkable and inspiring. With the current transition to Planet Tomorrow, I am grateful to remain part of this journey and together with Shambavi and all fellow buddies, we’ll continue to be there and strive to make a lasting impact. So here’s to SSS where every effort makes a difference.😊

Hi all really enjoyed doing something regularly to save the environment. With so many kgs of waste going to garbage dump, we managed to save big quantities of cloth scrap from tailor made into beautiful bags for school children, bedsheets for many homeless and orphanages, pillows for construction workers for their afternoon nap during the year 2015-2019 It is such a pleasure to know about SSS and work weekly sorting, cutting and stitching in 2 hours a week. My mom at 74 enjoyed stitching. And my daughter learnt how to cut and stitch bags and bedsheets during her teen sessions with Shambhavi in a structured manner.
